Lodged in a busy intersection in an up-and-coming area in the capital, Terra Housing is a small-scale housing complex consisting of eight neighboring units. Each house is oriented in response to the slanted land parcel and mirrors the angle in its façade play.

Lodged in a busy intersection in an up-and-coming area in the capital, Terra Housing is a small-scale housing complex consisting of eight neighboring units. Each house is oriented in response to the slanted land parcel and mirrors the angle in its façade play.
The façade is an interplay of a massive terracotta block and a number of shaded openings that allow natural daylight to enter inside without being too harsh. The result is a zig-zag composition that enacts privacy and distinct visual forms.
Architecture should listen to its surroundings. In Terra Housing, each building function is maximized vertically while making various openings for a breathable living unit. Minimum house footprint is perked with spacious shared street and carports, private backyards, and porous foyers.
